Ruby didn't think the essay would be that big of a challenge, though she soon realized there were not many healing herbs in New York. Because of this the mage had spent a few hours leaning over her desk and clawing at her hair as she tried to think of some plant she could use from her home state. She didn't think there were any plants in any of the gardens she could use, bushes and trees didn't count after all, and she had to rake her brain to decide if using aloe was a bad decision. She had to figure the plant was used for healing burns after all, and she could find it, granted usually in pots in the nurse office or in window shills, but still that had to count for sure.
She however wasn't sure, which is why she was still stuck burying her head in her arms as she thought of what to write about. Finally she settled on writing about aloe plants, it was the best she had right now and she didn't think there would be many plants in new york she could use anyway. She couldn't even attach a sample of it because of the juice that tended to seep from the plant. Ruby just grumbled as she wrote a detailed, as best as she could anyway, on how Aloe plants worked and helped heal burns. Even if she exaggerated a little on how well the plants worked it was better then nothing she figured
